How to Set Up Your Hound Hero Time to Pet Account
A simple guide to registering with Hound Hero, setting up your dog's profile and getting ready for their first adventure.
Welcome to Hound Hero! We're excited to meet you and your four-legged companion.
We use Time to Pet, an easy-to-use online portal and mobile app, to manage bookings, payments and all the important details about your dog's care.
Whether you're joining us for regular group walks, daycare adventures or a home-away-from-home overnight stay, here's how to get started.
Step 1: Register with Hound Hero
If you're new to Hound Hero, the first step is to complete our online New Client Form.
You'll be asked for some basic information about yourself so we can create your account and get in touch.
Already booked with us through Mad Paws or spoken to us about joining? You may already have an account. Get in touch before registering again and we'll help you get set up.
Step 2: Activate your Time to Pet account
Once your account is ready, you'll receive an email inviting you to activate your Time to Pet account.
Follow the instructions in the email to create your password and log in.
Can't find the email? Check your junk or spam folder. You can also select Activate on the Time to Pet login page and request another activation email.

Step 3: Tell us about your hound
Every hero has a story, and we'd love to hear your dog's!
Once you've logged in, head to your pet's profile and complete their details.
This includes their:
Breed, age and general information
Personality, temperament and social preferences
Feeding routine and dietary requirements
Medical conditions, allergies and medications
Veterinary and emergency contact details
Vaccination records
We require all dogs to have current C5 vaccinations (or equivalent) before joining our services. You can upload their vaccination certificate directly to their profile.
The more we know about your hound, the better we can tailor their care.
Step 4: Arrange your free Meet & Greet
Before welcoming new dogs into our care, we like to meet them and their humans.
We'll usually get in touch after you register to arrange a free Meet & Greet.
Alternatively, you can request one through the portal by selecting Schedule → Request New Service → Meet & Greet.
Choose your preferred date and morning or afternoon time slot. We'll confirm the arrangements with you.
It's a relaxed opportunity to get to know one another, answer your questions and make sure Hound Hero is the right fit for your dog.
Step 5: Download the Time to Pet app
You can access your account through any web browser, but we recommend downloading the Time to Pet app for the easiest experience.
The app lets you:
Request and manage bookings
Check upcoming services
View invoices and make payments
Send us messages
Receive photos and updates
Keep your dog's information up to date
It's particularly handy when your dog is enjoying an overnight stay and you're away from home.
You're ready to join the pack!
Once we've met your hound and confirmed that our services are a good fit, you'll be ready to book their first Hound Hero adventure.
