Hound Hero offers professional dog-walking, daycare, and overnight dog-sitting services across Melbourne.
Based near Altona, we treat every dog like our own, whether for a walk, a day, a weekend, or even longer.
Specialising in large and active breeds (Aussies, Beagles, Labs, Kelpies, Ridgebacks, and Dobermans), we keep group walks and daycare limited to 5 dogs for safety and fun.
We are police checked and trained in pet first aid.

Our Services
$50 per day
($15 per additional dog)
We will provide your dog with a daylong adventure tailored to their needs.
With flexible drop off and pick-up times, we can work with your schedule. We can collect or drop off your dog for $10 one way.
Walks
Group Walks $30 per hour
Private Walks $35 per session
($15 per additional dog from same household)
Group walks will have your dog join in the fun with up to 5 dogs. Private walks are a 1:1 on lead walks
Dog-Sitting
$75 per night
($25 per additional dog)
Board your dog with Hound Hero. We will care for your dog in our home while you’re away.
Peak Holiday Times may incur a surcharge.
$35 for Check-in Visit
$45 includes a 1:1 walk
We will visit your dog at home, check they have food, water, and take them for a bathroom break.
All new clients must book a free Meet and Greet with us.
We always meet in a fenced off leash dog park, so we can see how your dog interacts with other dogs, as well as people. It’s also your time to get to know us, ask questions, so you can be sure that Hound Hero is the right fit for you and your dog. Please join the pack and we’ll be in touch to book a meet and greet!
